Portrait photography

My approach to a portrait session involves photographing the subject/subjects in a number of locations and styles and allowing the shoot to evolve and take its own shape. I use a number of lighting techniques, utilizing both window light and a portable flash system which gives excellent results.

Where appropriate I would ask the subject to include relevant props in the shoot.

The initial shoot takes less than an hour and then I am able to go through a selection of the photos on a laptop to get an impression of what the customer's preferences are.
